Paunat, a tiny village which dates back over 1000 years, lies in a lovely valley near the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers. This renovated farm cottage is just outside Paunat and, although small, has been thoughtfully planned and furnished by its owners to make an ideal base for a couple from which to explore the Périgord or simply relax by the pool with its lovely views across the countryside. A small sitting/dining room is separated from the galley kitchen area by a pine screen. A step down from the kitchen leads to the shower room and separate WC. The very pretty bedroom is nicely furnished with pine furniture. French doors from the sitting room lead out to the grassy garden at the back which has pleasant views across the countryside and features the newly built swimming pool.
The owner’s house is adjacent.

Paunat, petit village millénaire, se trouve dans un beau vallon pas loin du confluent de la Vézère et la Dordogne. La restauration et transformation très bien conçues de cette ancienne grangette ont créé une maison qui, quoique petite, est bien adaptée aux besoins d'un couple ou d'une famille avec de jeunes enfants. Les propriétaires se trouvent de temps en temps dans leur propre maison voisine. Dans la salle commune un paravent sépare le coin cuisine de la partie séjour/salle à manger, confortablement meublée. Il faut descendre d'une marche pour accéder à la salle d'eau et au WC indépendant. La chambre coquette est meublée en bois clair. La porte-fenêtre du séjour s'ouvre sur un jardin gazonné avec la piscine neuve et une belle vue dégagée sur la campagne.
