A large, attractive and very well maintained property on the outskirts of Manaurie. The village has its own small café/bar which is within walking distance of the house. The garden is mainly laid to lawn with woodland at the rear of the property and to the front, up high in the distance, the Château of Manaurie perches above the forest. There is a large covered terrace running along the front and one side of the house, overlooking the garden and pool.

On the ground floor is a very large open plan kitchen/sitting/dining room. The dining area, with original Magis oil painting, has large Italian floor tiles and light toned walls. To the left is the well equipped kitchen with doors leading out onto the covered terrace. On passing through a large stone archway one finds the sitting area with beams, open ornamental fireplace and very comfortable soft furnishings. There are doors leading to both the front and back garden. Also on the ground floor is a utility room, twin bedroom and shower room with WC.

Stairs lead up from the sitting area to the first floor with large mezzanine reading area. On either side are two double bedrooms, both with ensuite shower rooms.

All in all a good sized property offering very comfortable accommodation and furnished to a high standard. Its central location makes it ideal for discovering the many delights of the Périgord.

C'est une grande et très belle propriété bien entretenue, sise à la lisière de Manaurie. Dans le village, on trouve un petit bar/café qui est à quelques pas de la maison ainsi qu'une minuscule gare. Le jardin est principalement consacré au gazon avec des bois à l'arrière de la propriété et, à l'avant, on aperçoit, au loin, le château de Manaurie perché au dessus de la forêt. Une grande terrasse couverte longe la devanture et un flanc de la maison, supervisant le jardin et la piscine.

Au rez-de-chaussée, une grande pièce sert de salon/salle à manger/cuisine. Le coin salle à manger décoré de véritables tableaux du peintre Magis, possède un sol carrelé de grands carreaux italiens et des murs au ton lumineux. Sur la gauche, est aménagée la cuisine bien équipée dont les portes donnent sur la terrasse couverte. Un grand passage voûté, en pierre, mène au salon avec poutres apparentes, une cheminée ouverte décorative et un mobilier très confortable et moelleux. L'extérieur est accessible aussi bien par l'avant de la maison que du côté jardin. Toujours au rez-de-chaussée, se trouvent une buanderie, une chambre aux lits jumeaux et une salle d'eau avec WC.

Depuis le salon, un escalier monte à l'étage où une grande mezzanine sert de coin lecture. De chaque côté de cette mezzanine, se trouve une chambre à grand lit, chacune avec une salle d'eau en suite.

Pour résumer, c'est une assez grande propriété offrant un foyer confortable et un mobilier de grande qualité. Son emplacement en fait un pied à terre idéal pour qui veut découvrir les nombreux délices du Périgord.
