This is a very compact yet charming cottage situated in the tiny village of Limeuil. Set high up amongst other old stone village houses the property’s garden and rear aspect has a view from the terrace towards the woods behind Limeuil. The garden is stocked with pretty shrubs and plants. The front door is off a very narrow lane where there is rarely any passing traffic. On entering the property there is a small yet well equipped kitchen which has an opening through to a dining room. A grandfather clock with. A door leads through to the cute sitting room. The windows in the dining and sitting rooms have views down to the garden and woods below. The WC is in the entrance hallway on this level. From the sitting room stairs lead up to a pretty twin bedded room with exposed stonework and beams. Stairs also lead down to the lower level where there is a small double bedroom overlooking the garden and a new compact shower room with good sized shower and vanity unit. An arched doorway leads out to the back terrace and garden. All in all a pretty village cottage which has been carefully restored to provide every modern comfort, including full central heating in the winter months.

Très compact mais charmant, ce cottage est situé dans le petit village de Limeuil. Haut perché parmi d'autres maisons villageoises en vieilles pierres, le jardin et l'arrière plan disposent de vues sur les bois derrière Limeuil. Le jardin grouille de jolis buissons et de plantes avec une terrasse longeant une partie de la maison. La porte d'entrée donne sur un étroit chemin où il n'y a pratiquement aucune circulation. Au rez-de-chaussée, se trouve une cuisine certes petite mais bien équipée qui communique avec la salle à manger. Une horloge de parquet, dans un coin, marque la mesure du temps, souvenir d'autrefois. Une porte s'ouvre sur le charmant salon. Les fenêtres de la salle à manger et du salon ont vue sur le jardin et les bois en contrebas. Le WC indépendant est situé dans le vestibule. Du salon, un escalier monte à la jolie chambre aux lits jumeaux, avec pierres et poutres apparentes. Un deuxième escalier descend au niveau inférieur où sont aménagées une petite chambre à grand lit supervisant le jardin et une salle d'eau neuve avec douche et lavabo. Une porte cintrée mène à la terrasse arrière et au jardin. Bref, une délicieuse propriété qui fut restaurée avec soin afin de procurer tout le confort moderne, y inclus le chauffage central pour la période hivernale.
