This charming stonebuilt house is situated close to the town of Les Eyzies, famous for being the centre of pre-history in the Dordogne, and only 8kms from Le Bugue. The house is high on the side of a valley with lovely views and is full of character with wonderful honey-coloured exposed stonework so typical of this region. The house has been recently restored to create a spacious and very well equipped home. The fitted kitchen is on the lowest level with a step up to the dining area. A few more steps lead up to the sitting room with its large fireplace and doors leading out into the garden and rear terrace overlooking the countryside. The main entrance is via the tower and leads into a hall to the left of which is a double bedroom beside which is a bathroom with a separate shower cubicle and a separate WC. The other two bedrooms are on the top floor together with a shower room and WC.

This is a delightful house in an ideal position for exploring the region or for simply relaxing and enjoying the tranquillity of the surroundings.

Cette maison ancienne en pierre se situe à seulement 3km des Eyzies, centre de la préhistoire en Dordogne. La maison se trouve sur une colline avec de très belles vues sur la campagne.

La maison a été bien restaurée pour créer une maison spacieuse et bien équipée tout en gardant son caractère et son charme avec ses pierres et poutres apparentes. Il y a plusieurs niveaux. L'entrée principale est dans la tour où il y a une chambre et salle de bains. Quelques marches descendent vers le séjour avec une grande cheminée et un balcon en fer donnant sur la salle à manger. La cuisine se trouve au niveau inférieur avec des portes donnant sur la terrasse devant la maison. A l'étage, il y a deux autres chambres et une salle d'eau.

La restauration a été faite avec un goût vraiment sympathique et cette propriété plaît beaucoup à cause de son charme et sa tranquillité absolue.
