This pretty stone cottage is to be found in a tiny hamlet between Meyrals and St Cyprien. Although small the cottage is very charming with an excellent terrace incorporating a covered barbecue area and a grassy garden which is higher than the house and overlooks the Château du Roc. The cosy sitting/dining room has exposed stone and beams and a large open fireplace. The kitchen is newly fitted. Also on this floor is a double bedded room and a bathroom with WC. A spiral staircase goes down to the lower level where there are two further bedrooms and another bathroom and a separate WC. These two lower bedrooms are inter-connected and the twin room has a door giving access to the front of the house. As this is the last house in the hamlet and the tiny road becomes a lane there is no passing traffic apart from the occasional tractor.
Quiet but not isolated, this is an ideal spot from which to explore the Périgord.

Une très jolie maison en pierre située dans un petit hameau entre Meyrals et St Cyprien. La maison est charmante avec une excellente terrasse en partie ombragée par un vieux tilleul sous lequel il est agréable de prendre ses repas. Cette terrasse est bordée par un ancien four à pain qui abrite le barbecue. Le jardin a une vue sur le Château de la Roque.
Le séjour/salle à manger avec pierres et poutres apparentes ainsi qu'une grande cheminée est au niveau de la terrasse ainsi que la cuisine, une chambre avec grand lit et une salle de bains avec WC. Un escalier en colimaçon descend au niveau de la rue où il y a deux autres chambres qui communiquent et une salle de bains avec WC séparés. On accède aisément à ce niveau par un petit chemin qui part de la rue et va directement à la terrasse. Cette maison est la dernière dans le hameau et la petite rue devient un chemin rural. Un endroit calme mais pas isolé et idéal pour découvrir la région.
