A recently constructed house set within in a small collection of properties and walking distance to the market town of Le Buisson. Le Buisson itself has a good selection of small shops, restaurants, supermarket, cinema, tennis court, post office, bank and railway station, as well as a delightful open air market every Friday morning and night market during July and August.

The garden is fully enclosed with private gates and the fenced pool is set to one side of the property with sunbathing terrace and lava barbecue incorporating a plancha, ideal for al fresco dining.

The entrance door leads directly into the open plan sitting/dining room which is light and airy. There are French windows which lead from the dining area to the rear of the property where there is a covered eating terrace, as well as a decked area with picnic table, sandpit set to one side and a children's swing/play frame in the garden.

Returning to the sitting room, long picture windows overlook the pool to the side of the property. Comfortable leather sofas are grouped around the large stone fireplace, and as well as a mix of contemporary and antique furnishings there are exposed beams and tiled floors.

To the right of the entrance door is the well equipped and newly installed kitchen with windows to two sides. There is a breakfast table, stainless steel electric oven with mixed ceramic/gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer and lightwood soft close units and drawers.

Also on the ground floor is a pantry/laundry area with a freezer and washing machine as well as a separate cloakroom with WC and handbasin.

Solid wood stairs lead from the dining area to three bedrooms (two double and one twin) and two newly installed bath/shower rooms. The shower room has large corner shower & basin, and a separate WC opposite. The bathroom is very spacious with corner bath, separate large shower and double vanity basins. The bedrooms have chestnut parquet flooring and electric shutters.

All in all a very well appointed house with fenced private pool, surrounded by a tall hedge and within walking distance of all amenities.

This property is based in the Dordogne (often referred to by its ancient name "The Périgord"). The Périgord Noir, where the vast majority of our properties are located, is the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the Dordogne for here, in the triangle formed between the rivers Vézère and Dordogne, you will find the greatest concentration of natural wonders and historic sites, and the loveliest stretches of both rivers. The area is bounded by four famous towns and this property is well situated within this boundary - Sarlat, a medieval treasure house; Périgueux, a thriving and sophisticated small city; Bergerac, shippers of wine since the Middle ages and Monpazier, an extraordinarily well preserved bastide built by King Edward I in 1285.

Less then 1 hour from Bergerac airport, 1.5 hours from Brive airport, 2.5 hours from Bordeaux airport/TGV station and 2.5 hours from Toulouse airport.
