This immaculately maintained, lovely old stone property with large pool overlooking gorgeous countryside views has been recently completely renovated, including new kitchen and bathrooms. Set at the end of a tiny hamlet of charming honey coloured stone properties and situated between Le Bugue and Ste Alvère, there is no passing traffic, offering a very tranquil setting for a relaxing holiday.
The property has an attractively landscaped garden and, alongside the large pool, a very pretty summer house offering an ideal escape to read a good book on hot sunny days. An additional bonus is the very well equipped summer kitchen with large dining table, sink, fridge and its own inter-linking terrace to the main house which offers comfortable relaxing sofas.
The solid wood entrance door leads into a large open plan kitchen/dining room with terra cotta floor tiles, limed beams, a good range of hand made base and wall units and Corian work surfaces. In addition to the main fridge there is an additional wine fridge, a round breakfast table in the kitchen and a long refectory table in the dining room. A door leads directly out to the very pretty garden.
Behind the kitchen is a good-sized shower room/laundry room with washing machine, dryer, butler sink, shower and WC.
From the dining room a farm-style door leads through to the large sitting room with comfortable sofas grouped around the open fireplace, exposed beams and terra cotta flooring. A slightly recessed area offers an additional relaxing place with sofas set next to double doors leading out to the rear garden and pool. With several sets of doors and windows this sitting room is very light and airy. At the end of the room doors lead out to the covered terrace which is next to the summer kitchen.
An inner hallway at the end of the sitting room has a solid wood staircase which leads up to the pigeonnier tower study.
Returning to the sitting room a staircase leads up to two large bedrooms with wooden floors and exposed beams, each with their own bathroom, finished in travertine tiles and high quality fixtures and fittings.
A further staircase leads from the dining room up to two further bedrooms, each with their own bath/shower room - all recently decorated and restored.

The area is bounded by four famous towns and this property is well situated within this boundary - Sarlat, a medieval treasure house; Périgueux, a thriving and sophisticated small city; Bergerac, shippers of wine since the Middle ages and Monpazier, an extraordinarily well preserved bastide built by King Edward I in 1285.
Less than 1 hour from Bergerac airport, 1.5 hours from Brive airport, 2.5 hours from Bordeaux airport/TGV station and 2.5 hours from Toulouse airport.
