A beautifully restored property located close to Alles sur Dordogne, a small quiet village on the banks of the Dordogne river, not far from Limeuil where the Vézère and Dordogne rivers meet. This property nestles in it's own grounds just outside Alles and has the advantage of being within walking distance to a delightful “ferme auberge” which prepares traditional Périgourdine-style meals.
This property has its own pool (10m x 5m) set in a lovely private garden at the rear of the property and a large back terrace, partly covered for shade, with a view over the pool, garden and the valley.
The original entrance door leads into the tiled and fully equipped kitchen/dining room with large dining table and high backed chairs - the cosy fireplace and exposed beams make this a characterful space.
The sitting room has exposed stonework and beams and boasts a lovely large window to take in the valley views from the property. There are 2 comfortable sofas - a great spot for relaxing inside.
Also on the ground floor is a spacious double bedroom, a family bathroom and a large summer lounge with corner kitchen which gives direct access out to the covered dining terrace and swimming pool. Also off the summer lounge is a laundry room with additional WC.
The solid wood staircase leads up from the hallway to a landing offering access to a further 2 delightful bedrooms (one double, one twin) and a shower room with basin and WC.
All in all a very comfortable property with private pool, ideally situated for all the sites and amenities this lovely region has to offer, and the ideal place to enjoy a very relaxing holiday.

This property is based in the Dordogne (often referred to by its ancient name "The Périgord"). Although times may have changed over the years the beautiful Dordogne landscape, in one of the most beautiful areas of France, continues to offer something to amaze and delight everyone. This ancient land, deep in the heart of sunny south-west France, is perfect holiday country; a magical place that will reward all those who choose to explore it.
The Périgord Noir, where the vast majority of our properties are located, is the 'Jewel in the Crown' of the Dordogne for here, in the triangle formed between the rivers Vézère and Dordogne, you will find the greatest concentration of natural wonders and historic sites, and the loveliest stretches of both rivers. The area is bounded by four famous towns and this property is well situated within this boundary - Sarlat, a medieval treasure house; Périgueux, a thriving and sophisticated small city; Bergerac, shippers of wine since the Middle ages and Monpazier, an extraordinarily well preserved bastide built by King Edward I in 1285.
Less then 1 hour from Bergerac airport, 1.5 hours from Brive airport, 2.5 hours from Bordeaux airport/TGV station and 2.5 hours from Toulouse airport.
