An imposing beautifully restored 18th Century Château on the Gers/Landes border with far reaching views set in approximately 45 acres of mature gardens and woodland with a spring fed pond, large pool and tennis court.
The property is ideally situated for exploring the many sights of the region and only a 10 minute drive from St Sever or Grenade-sur-L’Adour where you will find a good selection of shops and restaurants. Close to one of the best spas in France, a three star Michelin restaurant and access to the Château's own professional chef, the property is ideal for birthday or wedding celebrations or a relaxing holiday offering a truly gastronomic experience.
The Château is approached along a private driveway and the grand entrance is accessed via a majestic double stone staircase. The entrance door leads into the main hallway, with ancient stone floor and large sweeping oak staircase to the first floor.
On the ground floor there are many individually decorated rooms in which to relax or entertain, including the impressive dining room, elegant drawing room with various seating areas and fully equipped TV room. The games room has a full size billiard table with comfortable seating and a computer area with wifi access. The newly refurbished kitchen is fitted to a very high standard, offering every modern amenity (please see below for chef services).
The main staircase leads to the first floor landing from which, via two corridors, each of the eight bedrooms can be reached. Six bedrooms feature king/queen sized beds, one is a small double more suitable for one person and the eighth is a twin. All have been decorated to a high standard and have modern en-suite facilities. The master bedroom is situated in the central tower, providing wonderful views across the grounds and has an antique four poster king size bed and large circular bath in the immense en-suite. The two corner bedrooms also have access to the roof terraces with views across the grounds.
In the grounds of the Château is the olympic size pool with deep entry steps and quality poolside furniture. The hard surface tennis court is set discreetly in the side grounds. Also part of the property is a small lake, a fruit orchard and herb and organic vegetable garden from which guests can choose produce for their meals.
In all seasons the Château has an on-site chef who prepares a delicious daily breakfast for guests. In high season the chef is also available to prepare and cook evening meals for those clients who would like to take advantage of this service. Pricing is dependent on menu/ingredient choice and guests are left the freedom to discuss their tailor-made menus with the chef when they arrive at the Château - please contact us for details.
All in all an imposing property with many special features and offering a wide range of services which combine to make this a truly special location to spend your holiday.

The Heart of Gascony
Gascony refers to ancient territories in South-West France that ceased to exist after the French Revolution and cannot be found on modern day maps. The Duchy of Gascony was formed in 852 and joined with Aquitaine in 1036. It was subjected to English rule in the 12C for some 300 years and many Bastide and walled towns built during this time can still be seen today. Although the region of Gascony does not officially exist now, local people still proudly proclaim to be "Vrai Gascons".
We have a large selection of houses in the department of the Gers, and smaller selections in the neighbouring departments of the Hautes Pyrénées, Haute-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne and Ariége.
